The printed side does look like vinyl or pleather. It's just not what I was expecting from Sharif. I'm returning.

Sweet Sharif Satchel, Cherie62 NY ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ } 2/17/2013 I adore Sharif handbags style, functionality. Even though the leather is soft its sturdy. In black the print really pops! This satchel is on the larger size but is not bulky. Even loaded with sensitive electronic equipment(Paranormal Investigator here) Its a balanced bag. And the shoulder strap stays put if your on the move. The bag is secure which is very important to me. My equipment needs to be on my person easy to carry and easy to get at fast.

It's a fascinating bag, with numerous designer features such as zippered inner pockets and jeweled fringue decoration by the side It is substantial yet lightweight. Love it. Doubtless, this is the first of many Charif bags that I plan to acquire.

I ordered the yellow. I am keeping it for spring/summer. The quality is perfect, why anyone would give it a less than five star review is beyond me. Thanks Sharif for a truly one of a kind bag.

Looks a Bit Cheap, petsitter60 MD ★ ★ ★ } 1/6/2013 Smooth black leather with stamped zodiac design looks cheap for a Sharif bag. Looks like vinyl. Inside is fine. Size is larger than I expected. Have other Sharif bags that I like much better.

Zipper Issues, snookie96 CA ★ } 7/4/2012 I ordered this bag for my wife as an anniversary gift in May, she loved the bag, but within a week the zipper across the top broke, or seperated, I returned the bag, was charged for the return, had to call customer service to get that reversed, recieved the exchange, and here we are approximately two weeks later, same issue, this was a bag that I saw my wife admiring and wanted to surprise her, I usually purchase D&B, and have never had a problem, very disappointed, will return for credit!!

I also thought 199 was fair for a leather handbag with such a nice design. Then, I got the purse. The entire bottom of the purse is vinyl and it wraps up on to the sides? I am not sure how they can say fully leather? The sides are leather and the straps. That is about it. The vinyl shows and completely makes the purse look cheap. I asked three of my friends and my mom and they all agreed.
